Professor Dmytro Riazanov, Doctor of Medicine
In 1994 he graduated from the Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, having obtained a degree in Medicine with distinction. Afterwards, he got his residency training in the Zaporizhzhia State Physicians’ Continuing Education Institute. He has run the gamut of academic career from a teaching assistant to a professor.
In 1999 Dmytro Riazanov completed and defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine, and in 2006 he completed and defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medicine with specialization in surgery. In 2006 he obtained the scientific rank of Associate Professor, and in 2008 he was promoted to Full Professor.
In 2005 he obtained the highest qualification grade in surgery. At present, he is a member of the European Surgical Association, of European Venous Forum, and Zaporizhzhia Regional Surgical Society. He practises modern methods of examination and surgical treatment. He has had internships in EU and CIS countries.
Dmytro Riazanov has authored and co-authored more than 160 scientific papers, 3 textbooks approved by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 16 patents of invention, 4 instructional guidelines, 3 information sheets, 2 copyrights for scientific works. Professor Dmytro Riazanov has supervised one PhD thesis in Medicine.
He is an editorial board member of the journal Modern Medical Technologies.
Dmytro Riazanov has been awarded certificates of appreciation from the Zaporizhzhia Municipal and Regional administrations for personal accomplishments, weighty contribution into practical healthcare, and quality of performance.
